Visit 2 - "Boy" things look better after a good night's sleep
Had a terrific visit at the baby house today. It's amazing what a little sleep and a little information will do to improve one's frame of mind. Even though we left the previous day not sure which of 3 kids was meant to be in our family, by morning we had both come to the conclusion that it was probably an adorable 7 month old boy we had seen (although it was very difficult not to choose the other 2). We were able to talk to one of the doctors today, who was very helpful in providing the information we were looking for on this boy and a little bit of information on the other 2. Then we had a great visit with the baby for almost 2 hours. He's a happy, well developed little kid. If he really wants a toy, or to look at the hole in Daddy's sock, he can manage to creep to where he wants to go quite effectively. I have a feeling he will be crawling soon. Looks like we will be putting baby gates back up and the big plastic "stuff" in our basement is not going anywhere soon!
We cannot visit the baby house on Sunday, so we are going to try to get out and do some site-seeing. Hopefully the afternoon monsoon like rains we have had since we arrived (we're starting to feel responsible for uncharacteristic rainfall wherever we go) will not reappear today because we left our hip-waders and rain coats back home. We are getting really good at balancing precariously on curbs to get around large puddles (small lakes) carrying grocery bags and 5 L bottles of water.

Wow Wee Zowee! A boy! How cool! We are so thrilled that you were able to finally meet! I have been checking back constantly, I can't seem to figure out the time difference. What wonderful news! If the boy is 7 months then that will mean that there is a 3 year age difference between him and Tim. That is really great!
it has been dry here. I guess you were right those rain clouds just followed you right over to Kaz. Stay dry and plastic trash bags make great makeshift raingear...Just poke a hole throught the bottom for your head and one on each side for your arms.

Hello again! Just a reminder about the big plastic stuff....when you are not around it tends to grow and multiply......Also, as you are making plans for a homecoming, let me know if you need anything. Chances are I probably have it.

It is great reading about your trip. The accomodations look great--better than the one room hotel we had. Dodging puddles and balancing on curbs sounds a lot like what we did. We are thrilled to hear you will be the proud parents of a 7 month old boy. I'm sure Tim will be thrilled to have a little brother. Take one day at a time and keep the postings coming.
