1st Visit to the Baby House

Got to go to the baby house yesterday (Friday in Astana). We were quite excited to be going earlier than expected. While we were there we met a nice couple from Jacksonville, FL who had arrived the previous night and, like us, had been hoping to adopt 2 kids. They are also staying in an apartment near ours. We all got to know each other a bit because the baby house director was at a meeting so we had to wait for an hour or so. The other couple got to go in first so that left us waiting another hour. Needless to say, we were a little tense by the time we got in there. It ended up being a very stressful visit. We arrived at 2:30 and it was after 6:00 when we left. By that time there were no doctors available to discuss the kids' medicals so hopefully one will be available today. But, it's Saturday so who knows. We will give more details about the visit in a later post. We are going back this morning to visit again and are much less stressed today. Keep praying for us as we try to determine which child God has planned for our family.

Hang in there! Just think of this as an extended Labor....lots of stress and pushing but you won't have to have an epesiotomy! On a less obnoxious note...I am praying for you.. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)....Be still before the Lord and and wait patiently for him (Psalm 37:7)
Lots of Love being channeled to you from here.
